PREREQUISITES

Feather Touch Tattoo
Feather Touch - involves the use of a micro-blade to create fine hair-like strokes to achieve a more full and defined brow – rather than delivering solid patches of pigment. Results fade gradually, lasting 12-18 months. To maintain freshness, a touch-up is recommended every 12 months. Feather Touch tattoos are subtle, natural-looking and make your morning makeup routine a breeze.
FEATHER TOUCH IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CLIENTS WITH OILY SKIN, ROSACEA OR ON BLOOD THINNERS.
Combo/Powder Brows
Combo - This technique combines feather touch tattoo and ombre shading lasting 1-2 years. Feather strokes are used at the bulb (front) of the brow and then ombre shading throughout the rest of the brow. Powder brows is ombre shading throughout the entire brow and can be as soft or dramatic as you like.

Long term aftercareThis varies between every individual due to skin type, diet, genetics and environmental factors, they all contribute to retention of pigment. Sun exposure and swimming in chlorinated water will affect the tattoo pigment so avoid excessive exposure. Apply sunscreen to your brows also when in prolonged sun exposure. Can apply Vaseline to brows when swimming to protect them. Be mindful of the ingredients (active ingredients) in your skincare as these may fade your tattoo. You still use these products just don’t apply them on or near your brows. If you get IPL or laser treatments please advise your therapist that you have a brow tattoo and the tattoo must be covered to avoid fading. It is important to remember that semi-permeant makeup is a ‘low’ not a ‘no’ maintenance treatment. Maintaining the shape of your brows is important because it enhances the colour of your tattoo while keeping the precious in the shape. We recommend scheduling an appointment with your brow specialist for a brow style to maintain this shape. Once the colour starts to fade you will notice and be ready for a colour refresher. On average people come back annually for touch ups.

What is the difference between feather touch and ombre brows? One of the main difference between the 2 techniques is how the pigment is deposited into the skin. Feather Touch uses a handheld tool (micro-blade) to create incisions into the skin, whereas Ombre brows are done using a machine.
